091. Homeless
Posted by admin on Haziran 27th, 2009Neyse metroya bindim ve hemen yanımdaki koltukta homeless (evsiz) insanlarla ilgili bir broşür buldum. Hemen aldım. Metrolarda okunmuş gazete ve dergilere çok rastlarsınız burada. Gazeteyi okurlar ve metroda bırakırlar. Biz de pek yaygın değil; ama burada metroların içi kütüphane gibi, hangi gazeteyi arasanız bulursunuz. Şehirde dolaşırsanız ekonomi gazetelerine, diğer yerlerde de Sun gibi gazetelere çok rahat ulaşabilirsiniz..
Neyse aldım broşürü elime ve okumaya başladım.

But street homelessness is just the tip of the iceberg. The number of homeless families in the UK has almost doubled in the last fifteen years. And a government report estimates that more than 1,000,000 homes in teh UK are unfit for human habitation…”
ve daha bunun gibi bir çok şey.
Sokakta yaşayan evsiz insanların ortalama ömrü 42’iymiş, yani bu insanların çoğu 50 yaşını bile göremiyor. Yazık, ‘poor old Britain’ demek geçiyor insanın içinden.
